Welcome to VolleyCommunity
Hi, I’m Slaviyn – the founder and editor of VolleyCommunity.
I have followed volleyball for more than 25 years. I am not a professional coach or former elite player, but I have spent decades watching matches, studying teams and players, tracking results, and learning how the sport has developed at both international and club level.
VolleyCommunity is where I bring that experience together in one independent volleyball publication.
What You’ll Find Here
VolleyCommunity was created to provide volleyball fans with accurate, useful, and well-researched content that is easy to understand.
The current focus is international volleyball, particularly the Volleyball Nations League. The site includes:
- tournament results and standings;
- team histories and season-by-season records;
- MVP, medal and championship lists;
- player statistics and performance analysis;
- previews of important matches and qualification scenarios;
- explanations of tournament formats and rules.
As VolleyCommunity grows, the coverage will expand to include club competitions, player profiles, tactical analysis and other major volleyball events.
Our Editorial Approach
Accuracy is one of the main priorities of VolleyCommunity.
Statistics, results and historical information are checked against official tournament pages, federation records and other reliable sources. When information changes or new data becomes available, articles may be updated to keep them accurate and useful.
Articles published under the VolleyCommunity Editorial Team byline follow the same sourcing, fact-checking and correction standards. The byline represents the editorial identity of the site, which is founded and managed by Slaviyn.
Despite careful research, mistakes can occasionally happen. When a factual error is identified, it will be reviewed and corrected as soon as reasonably possible.
Why VolleyCommunity Exists
A great deal of volleyball information is available online, but it is often scattered across federation websites, tournament pages, archived reports and individual news articles.
VolleyCommunity aims to bring that information together in a clearer and more accessible format. The goal is to offer more depth than a short news report while keeping the content understandable for both experienced supporters and newer fans.
The site is built for readers who want to look beyond the final score and better understand the records, performances and stories behind each tournament.
Independent Publication
VolleyCommunity is an independent publication.
It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or officially connected to FIVB, Volleyball World, any national volleyball federation, professional league, club or team.
Tournament names, team names, organization names, trademarks and logos belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and informational purposes.
